Hi! Welcome to Menstruation Celebration!

This site, once developed, will contain 3 parts:

1. education (on menstrual shaming/period stigma both in the US and worldwide) including links to news and destigmatization activism;

2. a description of the 5.55 Menstrual Hygiene Drive, which supplies homeless girls in our local school system with the feminine supplies they need to they never miss a day of class due to having their period; along with ways to contribute and get involved; and

3. the fun stuff! descriptions of First Moon celebration and ceremonies for welcoming a girl’s first period; along with ideas for parties and gifts to remind us that menstruation is something to be celebrated — without it our species wouldn’t exist — not shamed.
